How to order:

Use the Contact Form to contact me and I will write back with an address for you to send your photos.

After your initial enquiry we discuss your ideas and requirements. A deposit of $50 is required to start the painting.

Once the painting is completed, I send a digital copy to you for approval via e-mail. If any changes need to be made, I will make them happily. Once you are satisfied with the portrait, I ask for balance of payment, and once received the painting is shipped.

Photographs sent by e-mail will be kept for future advertising if permitted, and the portrait copyright remains mine so that I can use it in the future for advertising. All photographs sent by post will be returned with the painting.

Prices: $300 (500mm x 350mm) incl postage.

$300 Aus on blank background. $350 with background 700mm x 500mm.

Please send carefully selected, clear photos of your pet. It is important to send as many photos as possible, to capture properly the colors and expressions and character of your dog. The better quality the photo, the better the painting.

When taking photos, try to get down to eye level with your dog. Do not take pics in bright sunny conditions, as shadows remove details. Try to avoid taking flash photos because they can be too harsh and change colors of the coat and eyes,. Try to fill the frame with your dog’s image. And do not use wide-angle lens, as this will distort the image.

  • Turnaround. 3-6 weeks.
  • All artwork is unframed.
  • Money orders accepted, Or pay pal.

I received the painting last week and have taken it to get framed, I think it will look brilliant! I am very, very happy with it. I’ll send you a photo of the framed piece when it’s done.

    Hi Jen,
Thank you so, so much!! The paintings arrived yesterday and are fantastic you have done a marvellous job. Dad came over for dinner last night, I was going to wait until Father’s Day to give the painting to him – but I just had to show him and then I ended up telling him that it was a gift for him. He was really impressed and thinks you’ve captured both Yin Yang and Locky perfectly.
(Sorry I must sound like an excited kid at Christmas!)
I have posted the board and paper back yesterday afternoon to you.

Hopefully talk to you in the near future :)
    Thanks again,
    Alison

    Hi Jen,
That’s fantastic! When I opened it I had to do a double take – it looks almost like a photograph, you’re really talented! Can’t wait to see the one of Yin Yang.
    Thanks heaps,
    A

    Hello Jennifer,
As so many other people have mentioned, I too have just watched Australian Story and my heart went out to both you and our much maligned dingoes. What a disgrace and shame on us as Australians for not rallying more to end the greed and misinformation that is contributing to these poor animals decline. All for the sake of tourist dollars…..I would love to help your cause in some way, so purchasing one of your paintings is a start ! What do you have available ? I would love one of the dingoe ones but if not I am happy to commission you to do a portrait of our dogs. Whatever is good for you. One of my favourite sayings is “when the going gets tough, just put on your big girl panties and deal with it ” ha ha keep up the good work.
