And now thanks to the Queensland Government and DERM this trash will continue to increase as Jen Parkhurst cannot return to the island, if she does, any dingoes that come near her DERM will destroy. How many tonnes of trash has she singlehandedly removed from this island ? Now we watch as the trash takes over-can’t expect the government to do anything, they are too concerned with trying to destroy every dingo on the island to protect the tourist dollar.

First of all thank you for taking the time and energy to pick up all this debris. However, one needs to also think about other reasons how this garbage got there. Our oceans roam the globe just like our air. Garbage could have come from any tsunami hitting inland – and garbage dumps, broken/sunken ships, etc…. it isn’t just from the inconsiderate human beings. We need to focus on our consumption of garbage – products that we use everyday – and reduce our use and want as much as possible. Again, thank you

Absolutely unbelievably disgusting. Are there Rangers there who could spot fine such filthy people who don;t deserve to be allowed to visit the area.
What is the Government of the area doing about it?
What do these animals feed on?
    Do others really care?

Is it possible to get some volunteers to help you one weekend, then get the media on board to shame the Govt and DERM, that even after all they have done to you, you will not be beaten down and are still caring for the Island.
